The Rules
To be eligible for nomination, the game must not been released in 2005, or at any prior date. The game
also must not be released before the nomination period ends on 5 January 2006, for that matter.
The game must have been publicly announced for a release in 2005 OR been scheduled forwards to a release
in 2005.
You may only nominate games which have been publicly announced.
Authors may step forward at any time during the nomination period to nominate their own vaporware game,
even if no announcement has been made. In such a case, a subsequent announcement OR a comment on the
nomination form must be done during the nomination period.
It is allowed to enter vaporware games for which a previous released demo, intro or beta
exists.
You may only send one nomination form to the organiser, although you may nominate up to three
games/authors for each category.
Although labeled 'Adrift Vaporware Awards', the nomination is not limited to Adrift entries and
authors. Vaporware games/authors of other IF languages are welcome.
The deadlines specified at the
Nomination and Judging page must
be met.

A special note on the role of the organiser
In order to make an example nomination and to get the awards going, the organiser has casted his own
nomination. The organiser wishes to express that his nomination is not an endorsement for any game or author.
The organiser will not partake in the judging process.
